Mudroom/Powder Room Project
The goal was twofold. Clean up this space and add a small powder room under the steps for this client who is having mobility issues. She was previously told that there was not room for a bath due to a water heater and furnace under the steps. We relocated the door into the garage to create the space. The back wall of the bathroom is a sliding set of doors. This allows the furnace and water heater to be reached for maintenance. At only 5’ x 2.5’ the bath is still big enough to accommodate a sink and toilet. We also closed in the steps for a more finished look. Rearranged washer/dryer/utility sink and removed countertop so that there is easy access to gameroom. We’ve also added an electrical outlet next to the sink to add a small refrigerator and microwave to limit the clients trips up and down stairs. Floor to ceiling shelves and medicine cabinet (IKEA) added for additional storage.

Upstairs Bathroom
Because we already had a crew in the home, we decided to do a quick update to the main bathroom on the first floor which was outdated and worn. An old wood cabinet with speckled black and grey paint was replaced with a beautiful new piece from Fairmont. We replaced the flooring, baseboards, cabinet, sink, toilet, lighting, hardware and faucets. With a fresh new paint color and shower curtain the bathroom now looks fresh and modern.
